ELE Award Scheme
This year (2022/2023) we launched a new, exciting award scheme! As you know at Eccleston Lane Ends, we are incredibly passionate about developing the whole child and ensuring that our children leave our school with the knowledge, skills and values to be great citizens in the world.
Our Eccleston Lane Ends Award Scheme is designed to assist in equipping and promoting life skills such as independence, resilience and determination as well as helping to inspire a love of reading and a kind caring nature where looking after others and our planet is highly valued.
The award scheme starts off in Reception - (EYFS) Award, Bronze Award is for Y1 and Y2, Silver Award for years 3 & 4, Gold Award for Years 5 & 6 and finally a Platinum Award for those who would like that extra challenge!
The challenges are designed to be appropriate for the child's age group so the children will enter the scheme at whichever level is appropriate for their age group.
The children need to evidence that they have met each of the criteria, at least once over the course of the year and parents/carers can provide evidence of any activity that occurs outside of school by sending evidence to the school email address: laneends@sthelens.org.uk . Class teachers will then sign off the criterion in the children's award booklets.
At the end of the year, the children who achieve the awards will take part in a special ceremony held at Rainhill High where they will be presented with their certificates dressed in a graduation style cap and gown. Families will be invited along to share in their childs' achievements. Attached below is a booklet containing the age related evidence sheet for your child/ren.

WOW! What a fantastic evening our annual Pupil Awards Ceremony was! The children were fantastic, especially signing along to Titanium using their Makaton skills. We are so proud of you all and all you have achieved!
